  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 5 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sauté minced garlic and chopped jalapeño for about 30 seconds.
  • Add unsweetened almond milk, heavy cream, cream cheese, green chilis, chili powder, cumin, onion powder, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Whisk until smooth.
  • Stir in shredded chicken, coating it well with the sauce.
  • Top with 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
