  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp dried minced onion
  • 2 tsp dried minced garlic
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 8 oz shredded cheese (a blend of mozzarella and provolone recommended)

Instructions

  • Combine ground turkey and Italian sausage in a large bowl.
  • Mix in shredded zucchini, egg, dried minced onion, garlic, basil, and salt until thoroughly blended.
  • Shape into about 24 meatballs and arrange them in a greased casserole dish.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake meatballs for 30 minutes.
