  • 1 tablespoon Adobo seasoning or taco seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons ancho chili powder
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 12 tablespoons cilantro, fresh or dried (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Brown the meat with half of the adobo or taco seasoning in a skillet.
  • Combine cream cheese, Rotel, and remaining seasoning in the crock pot.
  • Add the browned meat to the mixture and stir well.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and add ancho chili powder, then stir.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  • Before serving, sprinkle with fresh cilantro and shredded cheese if desired.
